What is PCM （Phase Change Material）Ice Pack ?

Phase change materials (PCMs) are substances that absorb and release thermal energy during a phase transition, like melting and solidifying. They can store and release large amounts of energy at a nearly constant temperature, making them useful for temperature regulation in various applications.

• Phase Change Materials:

  PCMs are substances that absorb or release large amounts of thermal energy when they change from solid to liquid (melting) or liquid to solid (freezing). 

   

  Defined Temperature:

   PCMs are engineered to have a specific melting/freezing point. For example, a PCM designed for refrigeration might melt at 

   5°C, maintaining a consistent temperature around that point （about 2-8°C）for usage.

     

   Consistent Cooling:

  As the PCM melts, it absorbs heat from its surroundings, keeping the temperature within a narrow range. 

   

  The PCM Ice Packs are widely used in our medical cooler box, for different transit cooler temperature range need.

  2-8°C medical range

  15~25°C range as need.
